About Davids' Broken Note
David Lardizabal is a Woodland local. In 2008 he moved to Renton, WA and graduated from Renton Technical College, Band Instrument Repair Program. After graduating in 2009 he met Master Repair Technician Jeff Dykstra who furthered David's experience by accepting him into his apprenticeship program. After completing his Music Instrument Repair apprenticeship, David enrolled into the world renown school of Luthiery, Roberto-Venn in Phoenix, AZ. There he learned how to design, build, and repair acoustic and electric guitars. He has honed his skills over the years working for other music stores and finally moved back home to Woodland to start his own shop with his wife Morgan over 10 years ago.
David applied to be a Taylor and Cordoba Music Group Authorized Warranty Center and was accepted by Taylor Guitars in November of 2017 and January of 2018 for Guild Guitars of the Cordoba Music Group. Then he went on to be accepted by Ibanez as well as Godin. In 2023 he added Yamaha and he has also been appointed as a Conn-Selmer Warranty Center for music instruments.
David continues to add to his vast experiences in band instrument repair to now includes instrument rentals.
