Job Listing: Band Instrument Repair Technician 

Davids’ Broken Note is located in Woodland, CA, just northwest of the state capitol, Sacramento and only 90 minutes from exciting San Francisco. Our main focus is band instrument and guitar repair, luthiery services, instrument rentals, and retail. We are looking to expand our team and hire a full-time technician or apprentice who is ready to devote the time and energy into mastering our craft. There will also be opportunity to learn luthier skills and general guitar maintenance and repairs, if interested.

The Technician is expected to perform the following:

• Regular maintenance on customer instruments and rental fleet.

• Evaluate, quote, and repair school instruments and walk-in customers.

• Provide excellent customer service to repair and occasionally to retail customers.

• Maintain company equipment and keep working spaces in good order.

• Additional duties as needed.

Hours:

• Full-time: 40 hours a week, including Saturdays.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Pass bench test showing basic skill levels

• Ability to take direction

• Customer service skills

Desired qualifications:

• Certificate of completion from an accredited repair program, or

• One year of experience training under a seasoned instrument repair technician.
